About Nurrenyen Belties

Nurrenyen Belties is a small, regenerative, beef farming enterprise located on 50 hectares at Parkesbourne, 20 km west of Goulburn on the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales. It is owned and run by Greg Crease and Jonathan Chia who made the tree change and moved from inner city Leichhardt to Parkesbourne in 2008. Before that they were both involved in the hospitality industry: Greg managed their pub, the Parkview Hotel in Alexandria, and Jon worked as cabin crew with QANTAS.

Now, Greg and Jon run a herd of about 40 pure-bred cattle registered in the Belted Galloway Herd Book of Galloways Australia. They breed Belties to show, to sell as seed stock to other farmers and for meat.

Nurrenyen Belties’ mission is to regenerate the landscape and improve the soil by growing high-quality, nutrient-dense, well-marbled, and flavoursome Beltie beef through regenerative agriculture.
